Ma’at Environment Fund is a private philanthropic fund established in 2023 to engage in environmental philanthropy through charitable giving and impact investment, focusing on the marine environment, wildlife conservation, and projects that:

• Make the world a better place
• Protect & restore the natural environment
• Have a strong community involvement/impact
• Bring joy to the soul
• Present an opportunity to contribute not just money but time and expertise and to develop a relationship with the beneficiaries/investees

Ma’at supports projects that use technology to affect environmental change and empower local people with a strong element of community engagement. We do this with a mix of grant-making and investment. The fund operates at the nexus where philanthropy and commerce intersect. We also provide mentoring consultancy to other non-profits, Social Enterprises and Foundations.
